Master in Development Management

Overview

This specialised course exclusively for the development sector aims to prepare students for top Leadership and Management roles in development projects & development organizations, addressing the need for trained management professionals for the Development Sector.

Eligibility :

  • A degree in any discipline from University of Mysore or equivalent course of any other recognized university.
  • Minimum of 45% aggregate marks in the degree course.

Batch Strength:

A total number of 40 students shall be admitted to the course, every academic year, as per the University guidelines. 

Duration/ Structure:

The MDM Course is spread over 2 years / 4 semesters comprising  fifteen core subjects, five electives, two apprenticeships and one project work.

V-LEAD integrates training on specific skills required for the development sector within the MDM curriculum framework with the aim of improving the employability quotient. Faculty:

V-LEAD has a team of faculty drawn from the creamy layer of academicians & Practitioners from various disciplines such as Community Development, Economics, Management, Finance, Social Sciences, Education, Psychology, Technology, Human Resource Management, Environment Management, Health Care Management, Development of Indigenous Communities etc. The Faculty with a rich experience spearhead innovations in promoting experiential learning.
